MEET THE OWNER SHALETA STEVENSON, LCSW, LCAS, PMH-C

Shaleta is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in Perinatal Mental Health therapy. As a North Carolina native, Shaleta earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from NCA&T State University and received her Master of Social Work in 2013 from NCA&T State University and UNCG.

Shaleta prides herself on her strong desire and compassion for helping others. She is committed to guiding women on their journey to self-discovery, while fostering resilience. With a compassionate heart and a listening ear, Shaleta provides a safe space where women can explore their emotions, confront challenges, and embrace growth. Her approach to therapy is rooted in empathy and understanding. She believes in meeting her clients where they are – wherever that place may be – and walking alongside them towards wholeness, healing, and hope.

As a board certified Perinatal Mental Health provider, Shaleta offers services tailored to help women, couples, and families navigate the challenges faced before, during, and after early pregnancy/infant loss, infertility, and birth anomalies.

We offer individual therapy tailored to meet your unique needs. With a one-on-one approach, we can help you work through challenges, create healthy boundaries, and develop coping strategies.

COUPLES THERAPY

We offer therapy for couples who are seeking support as they navigate the challenges of grief and loss related to miscarriage/pregnancy loss, infertility, and birth anomalies.

Clinical Consultation

We provide clinical supervision for associate level Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWAs) who are seeking full clinical licensure.

Typically 50-60 minutes for individual sessions, though it can vary.

Yes. We currently accept the following insurances: Aetna, Cigna, Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts

We also accept the following self-pay options: HSA/FSA and credit/debit card. Private pay sessions are $125.00 per session.

I currently only offer teletherapy services

Yes. I am licensed to practice (provide virtual therapy) in the following states: North Carolina, Oregon, Nevada, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Massachusetts

No. I currently only provide therapy for adults (ages 18 and older)
